Watch the waves roll onto the beach from your garden at this Kaka Point guest house. Free WiFi is also provided to show others the wonderful sea views from your accommodations. Jenny arranged an alternative accomodation for us because of a technical problem with our originally booked accomodation. This was absolutely great, instead of cancelling finding a perfect alternative for us. Also got excellent recommendations for places to see.

From $153 per nightThe view was lovely, the chairs and bed were very comfortable and it was great to soak in the spa by candlelight after our days exploring all the wonderful places the Catlins has to offer. The Point Cafe and Bar is a short walk away. We enjoyed a meal there on our first night and had their take out blue cod and chips on the second night - the best we’ve had in New Zealand! We have already recommended KP Spa to family and friends and would stay here again without hesitation.

We were greeted with fresh muffins by the proprietor who ensured the unit was to our liking. Heating was more than adequate for the weather. Given other accommodation options in the Catlins were scarce, we were more than happy to find such a good motel.

Well set up for self catering with electric frypan, microwave and hot plate. Beds were comfortable and the unit was very clean and well presented.
