The facilities are enough to survive within the resort itself without going outside. The santury is superb for leisure snorkling and swimming. We felt welcome by the staff on the beach and restaurants.

A "Day Room" is a small room one could use to shower and get yourself together while you're waiting to check-in at 3:00PM/15:00 Absolute Best View of Mount Otemanu!!! *I went Scuba Diving with the Eleuthera Bora Diving Center (*which I highly recommend) and when we went to the other hotels to pick up the other participants, I got a chance to see where their hotels were in relation to the mountain and I can tell you hands down, without a doubt The Intercontinental Hotel has thee BEST view of Mount Otemanu. **When you evision Bora Bora, this is exactly what you're hoping to walk out and see via your Over the Water Bungalow. Moreover: - Literally no mosquitoes - 5 Star Hotel but the prices of things there are shockingly reasonably priced (*especially in comparison to my stay at a 5 Star Hotel in the Maldives 8 months ago) Additionally I highly recommend doing a photoshoot with one of the Best, if not thee Best Photographer in Bora Bora: "Yael Faraire" and the name of his company is "Bora Bora Drone"... I've gotten an incredible amount of compliments via the pictures I took with him!!!

The resort is simple and relatively small, but also very cozy! The beach in front of it is one of the most beautiful ones in the entire island! Crystal clear blue water. The prices of food and beverages are good and there are a few other options of restaurants really close to the resort. My husband and I spent 8 days there and loved each one of them!

Excellent breakfast! The hotel provided transportation to/from Vaitape. Matira beach is walkable. A small store is walkable. Touring/snorkelling in the lagoon and nearby ocean are exceptional! Hotel has their own small pier, which is great to do some stargazing, enjoying the amazing trade winds (it faces roughly east) and the lagoon/motu views.
